Two really nice restaurants right next door and everything in a short walking distance- can’t recommend this place for the location enough!!

The home has everything you need, we got all our washing done and the beds are all clean and comfy too, we’ll definitely be coming back to Hvar if we can book Lidija’s place again!

  This is a great location overlooking the Fast Ferry landing about 30 steps up. It can be a busy entertainment district at night. With the AC on and the windows... read more closed sleeping was no problem for me. The patio is large with a 180 degree panorama of the port and the promenade on both sides of the harbor. Patio access is through one or both of the lower bedrooms which is great for families but requires patience with couples who might want privacy rather than through traffic. The large, modern umbrellas were critical to the patio life after the morning shade disappeared (around 11 am in mid-July). “Franny” greeted us promptly upon arrival and always responded within minutes to our calls or texts. He arranged swimming trips to adjacent beaches that were wonderful and fairly priced as “water taxis” rather than tours. Thanks Franny. AirBnB’s typically provide just one entry key but this place has a lock box system that restored flexibility and convenience for the 4 independent couples in our group. Good idea! Plumbing was up to date and 4 couples never had a hot water issue. Wifi was good, not super fast but adequate. Cell service was solid. Great coffee and breakfast places 50 paces left out the entry door. Swimming beach 200 meters right turn out of the entry door. Big Konsum grocery across from the largest church on the plaza. About a 10 minute walk. Fresh veggies & bread also available at the farmers market in that same block. We drank the local tap water in Croatia with no issues. Delicious in fact. 10% tipping was plenty. Cash only in many places in the islands but ATM’s are everywhere. We loved the pizza at Kogo on the square. Best in Hvar.

The club nearby is loud, but the villa has good insulation and windows to allow a good sleep. Highly recommend for a stay.

  Heaven during the day with beautiful views, but Hell during the night with the EXCESSIVE noise from the club below. We had ear plugs but the thudding sound... read more of bass could still be heard. Unfortunately early one evening we witnessed a mass brawl in the street below. Which wasn’t great for a family with children children. This apartment is best for 20 something and partying late.

It's hard to get away from... read more stairs in Hvar but there was only 1 set of stairs from the ferry to the apartment's main entrance so it wasn't bad at all. It was very warm when we were there and the home has multiple AC units that worked great! We also appreciated that the apartment had it's own clothes washer and dryer since we packed light. The best part of our Hvar trip was one day spent on a private boat that took us to secluded coves for swimming, wine tasting, and eat at a restaurant accessible only by boat. We rented the boat from Francesco (the home's caretaker). Lidija, thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and for connecting us with Frane!
